Talent_Compass_2016The Sr. Manager of Global Strategy & Analytics is responsible for providing strategic insights and analytics for the Commercial department and across the company. This position will build and refine revenue forecast models, manage market research projects, and perform analyses to inform commercial operating plans, corporate strategic planning and key decision-making. Projects will influence the company’s direction across multiple functions, including but not limited to: global commercial operations, corporate strategy, business development, portfolio/life-cycle management, and investor relations & communications.


Role Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and refine product/market forecast models and support the global forecasting process
  • Develop commercial assessments and business cases to help drive analytics for strategic planning and program/lifecycle management
  • Lead primary market research projects: work with commercial and cross-functional teams to define objectives and key questions, develop methodological approach, execute and oversee research with vendors, synthesize and present findings to teams and senior management
  • Conduct evaluations and due diligence in support of business development activities
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and provide regular updates of developments within therapeutic areas of interest
  • Work with regional sales & marketing teams to identify and track key performance metrics for brands; incorporate into quarterly updates for senior management
  • Utilize secondary marketing research sources and effectively apply data resources to projects, critically evaluating information and drawing appropriate conclusions
  • Work with colleagues to effectively incorporate business analytics into business strategy and marketing decisions; develop market insights and clearly communicate key messages and recommendations for action
